About My Mission

Donate to Save Life was started by me, Arishthha Chavan, a 10th school student who wanted to make a difference in the lives of blind people as well as those facing critical conditions due to need of blood. I, recognized that many individuals were unable to get crucial medical treatments or access life-saving resources as many times I heard my doctor parents discussing about the shortage or unavailability of Blood. Inspired by the need for compassion and community support, I decided of starting Donate to Save Life website as a way to connect donors with those in need, raising awareness and funds for medical treatments, surgeries, and other essential healthcare needs.

My aim is to empower individuals to make direct contributions, while also working with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers to ensure the organs or funds are allocated efficiently. Through this effort, I, Arishthha hope to build a stronger, more compassionate society where everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has access to the care they need to survive.

I am glad that this initiative has gained significant attention in my local community. I hope it to growing into a movement that supports people facing medical challenges with a greater sense of hope.

Can I provide post mortem/disfigured body?

No, bodies will only be accepted if in natural state

Is my donation confirmed once I fill the form?

Your donation post death can only take place if your relatives agree, and family members have complete authority to override your donation decision. Hence it is always advised to discuss your plans with family members before hand

How long after the death can a body be collected?

Donors are suggested to wait a maximum of 6 hours post demise before having the body be collected

Do medical conditions of patient affect donation status?

For most patients, medical conditions experienced by donors does not change the ability of organ donation.
